AIRPORT PICK UP AND NANNY SHIPPING (DOORSTEP DELIVERY)

Shipping a Frenchie puppy is a common concern for many of our clients. At Frenchie Bully, we have over 10 years of experience safely delivering puppies across the USA and Canada. While we understand the concerns, our detailed process ensures a safe, low-stress experience for every Frenchie we ship.

Airline Requirements for Shipping Your Puppy

To transport a Frenchie puppy to another state or country, airlines require a health certificate issued by a verified veterinarian within 10 days of travel. This certificate confirms your puppy is healthy and fit to fly. Some airlines also request an acclimation statement, confirming the puppy can safely handle temperatures within a certain range for short periods.

For safety reasons, puppies cannot be sedated, as sedation can affect balance and increase risk during flight. Depending on the airline, puppies are either checked in or picked up at the airport terminal, and they can be delivered to your doorstep if you’ve requested or paid for nanny shipping. Puppies are typically checked in about two hours before the flight and are ready for pickup 30–45 minutes after arrival.

The Flight

Once checked in, Frenchie puppies travel in the passenger cabin alongside the nanny flying with them. The cabin is temperature-controlled and pressurized for safety and comfort. Puppies are kept cozy in their carriers with absorbent bedding to handle any accidents, plus a layer of paper towels to allow them to burrow and feel secure.

Many people worry about the stress of flying, but at Frenchie Bully, we take every precaution to make the experience as calm as possible. Puppies rarely relieve themselves during travel, and the carrier setup provides warmth, security, and comfort throughout the journey.

After Your Puppy Arrives

Upon arrival at the airport or doorstep, most Frenchies are relieved and excited to see familiar faces. If you ordered airport pickup, bring baby wipes and a towel for a quick cleanup, especially if it’s a long ride home. For longer drives, let your puppy stretch its legs before hitting the road—but some puppies feel safer staying in the carrier until home.

Once home, start your Frenchie in a small room, like a bathroom, to encourage exploration without overwhelming them. We send along a teaser toy, two cans of wet food, and a small bag of dry food to help your puppy settle in. Playtime and interaction help your Frenchie feel safe, build confidence, and adjust quickly to its new home.

Nanny Shipping:
If you’ve opted for doorstep delivery, the nanny handles the entire process, ensuring your Frenchie puppy arrives ready to explore and play as soon as they leave the crate. You just sit back, relax, and welcome your new family member!
